Facing the worst of humanity has meant, for Aminata, a desire to be a voice for the voiceless, to speak up and take a stand for what she believes in. It is a simple and basic belief that all humans have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and it is our responsibility, all of us, to treat each other how we wish to be treated.
Becoming A Mother And Giving Back.
When Aminata faced losing her daughter during childbirth, she was changed in a moment. Her life and her daughter’s were spared from death, but this moment planted a seed in her. She knew that had she been birthing her daughter in her
home country, Sierra Leone, she would have died, and so would her daughter.
So began her life purpose, to change the outcome for mothers and babies in
Sierra Leone
, a country that is the most dangerous place to give birth. One in 17 women die during childbirth, while in Australia it is one in 8,700.

As a keynote and motivational speaker, Aminata uses her story to help individuals/organisations to build resilience and to embrace their higher purpose.
She has a passion for continually impacting and motivating anyone who comes across her to never to give up, choosing to rise against all odds and making representation matter.
I believe my sufferings have empowered me to develop the strongest soul. Because of that, I am determined to live my life for others whose lives are seared with scars. I am grateful to God for having a second chance in life and it is so important for me to speak on behalf of children, refugees and women’s rights because I know and feel their pain in my heart.
